Patient Meetings
A woman who is a carrier of haemophilia finding out what options she has to mother an unaffected child, knowing at what point we should seek specialist advice when a pregnancy does not arrive, or finding out what options a monoparental or homoparental family has to have children, are some of the questions that were discussed at our Patient Meetings in 2014.
Classes for parents
Pregnancy is one of the most special periods in the life of a woman, and yet it is also full of uncertainties, doubts and fears.
Because of this, since 2012, the Ginemed Foundation has been annually holding, their Aula de Padres or Classes for Parents: a support programme where gynaecologists, midwives and paediatricians discuss those topics which are most worrying for future parents.
A place where patients, over nine months and 19 meetings, can learn to care for their child before, during and after its birth.
Birthing classes
Information about pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, promoting good communication with your midwife and feeling supported, all will help you face labour, the birth and motherhood with more confidence and peace of mind.
Baby massage classes
The aim of baby massage is to promote nurturing interaction and communication with our children as a means of strengthening the emotional bond between parent and child.
The programme consists of five classes in which, in addition to explaining the sequence of movements that make up the massage, we help parents to identify the signs and signals that babies use to communicate and the importance of observing them in order to understand that they form part of communication with your baby.
